AEC week 1 reflections

What adjustments can I make in my daily life to be a better local, regional or global citizen?

A good citizen is one who does his or her part for the greater good of the community. I feel that I could be a better citizen localy by foreseeing the impacts of my actions. These seemingly simple actions could stretch out on a global scale. For instace, if each of us start saving water, it would benefit the local society as it means more local water for all. This would stretch out to the rest of the world. I thus feel that I could adjust by simpily saving water, cutting on paper usage, reducing food wastage as well as saving electricity. Through this I hope that my part as a citizen of Earth, not just Singapore, could branch out to allow our future generations to enjoy these blessings. After all every little action equates to our world today.
